About Clothing Protectors

Clothing protectors are used in many different ways, by many different people and businesses. The colors and patterns range from plaid to eagles to flags and kittens to floral designs, there is a design for just about anything you can imagine. They do not have to be plain and boring, clothing protectors can be colorful and jazzy and suited to match your style and your personality.

The materials in the clothing protectors or bibs are usually that of a vinyl that is water proof and allows for easy clean up with a damp cloth. You can have them with or without crumb catchers according to what they are going to be used for. They do come in linens and quilted fabrics that are machine washable so that they can be reused again and again.

Whether they tie at the neck or in the back as an apron would or snap or Velcro, they are all easy to use and very handy when it comes to messy jobs.

Hair salons offer them to you when you are getting a haircut, perm, or color, and even at times when you are having an area waxed. They protect our clothing from chemicals, water, and melted wax.

Medical professionals use them to protect our clothes during examinations. Your dentist will give you one to wear while cleaning or working on your teeth, and they come in handy after dental work when all we seem to do is drool.

Chefs use them while cooking to prevent any messy spills or splats form getting on their clothes. By wearing an apron the chef can create your meal and then remove the apron and walk out into the dining room to greet his guests and receive praise for his work.

We at home have found many uses for them, working in the garden where dirt and grass would normally stain our clothes, we can throw on an apron and keep our clothing clean from any debris. We use them in our backyards while grilling and in our kitchen preparing meals for our family and friends, although in these instances the aprons will be colorful and usually carry a funny saying or sport a goofy picture.

Teachers use them in school for art class or while doing any craft that requires paint, glue, or glitter. We appreciate them without realizing it at those times, when we spend $50 on a hooded jacket for our kid, the last thing we want is paint or glue on it when they return home.

So no matter what the job, woodworking, crafting, painting, or medical a clothing protector will come in handy. Our dry cleaning bills will be lowered thus creating lower overhead no matter your profession and making happy customers. If it is personal use then we all know that there is no place to write off the money lost on ruined and stained clothes. By spending a little cash on the clothing protectors we all save in the long run.
